choosing the right display. Not all plasmas connect easily to your

all rooms are suitable for a projector. Let us help you make the
right choice.

(There are 3 main types of projection system each
with its own positives and negatives, but here we generalise,
bear in mind that some projectors are weaker or stronger in some
areas)
Key advantages
- No real limit to picture size, it can be as big as your room
allows
- Relatively easy to hide when not in use (small component size,
retractable screen)
- Stunning image quality from a good set-up
- Long life of main components
- More filmic image, just like the cinema
Drawbacks
- At least some darkening of the room is needed, depending on
the projector
- The picture can be so large as to be overpowering. Some TV programs
are simply not watchable at that size
- Cooling fans hum. Needs careful installation
- Complex install, requiring long cable runs
- DLP projectors can suffer rainbow artefacts. Some people see
them, others not.
- Try before you buy!
